Dolcetto di antica tradizione veneziana, diffusosi anche nell'entroterra e poi quasi scomparso.
Tra le due guerre venne riportato in auge specie da ambulanti cadorini che scendevano a Venezia a vendere i caramei per le strade, riportando questo dolcetto di viva attualita'.

Prendere della frutta, come fichi secchi, datteri, gherigli di noce, chicchi d'uva e mandorle, infilarla intera o a pezzi se grande negli appositi stecchini lunghi sui 15 cm, passarla allo zucchero caramellato e lasciare che si raffreddino.
